lyrics
Oh my love, you remind me of the stormy day I'll pass away upon. In your hair I see the dark lure of winter; in your eyes I see my end. And I don't mind your kiss being poisoned; I don't mind your fangs. I don't mind your preoccupation with pain; I don't mind you at all. Oh my love, get on back, I cannot stand not getting enough of all the things you to me, so I'm a-gone; I'd rather be dead than piddlin' piddlin' on this way. Sure as the sun goes down and sure as I killed bottle after bottle baby with you, of innocent booze, baby I'll be back and I will say: oh my love, you remind me of the undressed bed I'll pass away upon. In your hair I see the black maw of death, in your eyes I see my end.
fell into Days n' Daze when I was travelling, thanks to some of my road dogs. I don't have that freedom anymore but I feel a piece of it Everytime I listen to their music. love y'all! thefool309
As much as I like the current line up, I do miss the dynamic that Marissa's voice added to the band. Plus, she's one of the better washboard players out there. Terry Aston
EklektikTrip
Australian shambolic pop that uses the generic trope of deadpan ennui to evoke bleak dystopia rather than the usual sunny slacker world. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jul 6, 2016
Specializing in bright, sunny "bedroom rock español," this Brooklyn singer-songwriter puts a unique spin on lo-fi music. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 18, 2024
The Taxpayers were able to put down a tacklist of songs that allow us to go on a journey. In this album we experience the manic highs and lows one may experience in a life long battle with deteriorating mental health. The picture at times grim and beautiful is one I continually come back to as its tragedy never fades. Ulysses Johnson
